I could keep this phrase to myself. I prefer to live it out loud, because it sums up better than anything what I have to say about my journey.

I was born with a different way of seeing, a visual impairment that, as a child, could have closed in on me like a door. It did the opposite. It taught me very early to look differently: more slowly, more deeply, searching beneath the surface of things for what is not given at first glance. Perhaps that is where my eye for art was formed, without my knowing it yet. Because seeing a sculpture, a canvas, a worked material is never a question of visual acuity. It is a question of attention.

My mother passed this attention on to me before I even knew how to name it. She was the first to open the doors of museums, workshops and concert halls to me, and she taught me that a painting is read like a sentence and that a note of music is felt like an emotion. Alongside her, and with a close friend of the family who was an artist himself and introduced me to the piano and to painting, I did not only learn techniques. I learned a language. The one I still speak today, through ARTDELION.

But the path was anything but a straight line. As a teenager, school felt like a suit cut too tight, made for others than me. I dropped out, not out of resignation, but because I needed to find my own measure of the world, far from classrooms. People often call that a failure. I prefer to see it as a first turn: that of a young man refusing to follow a road that was not his own, even when he did not yet know which one to take.

I found mine, for eleven years, in the soil. Landscaping gave me what the classroom never had: patience of gesture, the rigour of work done well, the simple pride of watching what you have planted with your own hands grow. A garden is not shaped in a day. You learn to wait, to correct, to begin again. Those eleven years were not a detour before my real life. They are its foundation. That is where I learned what no school could have taught me as well: the value of the long term, and of effort that does not show straight away.

Then came the moment when I wanted to go further, to understand the workings of a world I had always watched as a passionate amateur: business, strategy, selling. I went back to learn, by choice this time, with the hunger of someone who already knows what he wants to do with it. That change of direction led me to commercial roles, where I discovered another truth: selling is never about convincing. It is about understanding the other person, and revealing to them what they were looking for without always being able to name it. That is exactly what art does. That is exactly what I wanted to do for art.

From that crossroads, the singular eye inherited from my journey, the patience learned in the field, the rigour acquired in the business world, and this love of art that has never ceased to guide me, came a simple conviction: talented artists lack bridges to those who could recognise them more than they lack genius. That bridge is what I set out to build.

ARTDELION was born of that conviction, in Paris, in 2026. Neither chance nor impulse: the natural outcome of a path which, in hindsight, never strayed from its direction, only from its speed. Every step that might have looked like an obstacle, the different eye, school left too early, the years of manual work before the office years, in fact laid one more stone in the foundations of what I am building today.

I do not tell this story so that people dwell on what was difficult. I tell it because it explains why I do this work with this level of rigour: because I know what a dream you refuse to abandon costs, and because I know how to recognise, in an artist, that same quiet stubbornness which is not always visible, but which makes all the difference.

To look. To feel. To connect. That is all ARTDELION seeks to do, and it is all my own story taught me to do, long before I gave it this name.
