Gabriel Lemaire Sicre

Sculptor and painter · Graulhet, Tarn · Since 2013

Gabriel Lemaire Sicre spent some twenty years in computing before devoting his life to colour. Since 2013, in the former Breilhac factory at Graulhet, in the Tarn, he has been building Le Paradis des Machines, a collection of one hundred and sixty-three works born of scrapped industrial machines.

The format, in practice

At 200 cm high, this piece is read standing, at eye level. It needs clear space in front of it rather than a corner. It is 35 cm wide, so it fits into most interiors without rearranging the room.
